TC Encore Rimfire Conversion Kit

The MGM Encore Rimfire Conversion Kit changes the way rimfire barrels can be built for the TC Encore platform.

Traditionally, Encore rimfire barrels required an offset chamber/bore to line the rim of the cartridge up with the factory centerfire firing pin. It worked but it also dictated barrel design, limited certain configurations, and made rimfire barrels fundamentally different from their centerfire counterparts. That workaround is no longer necessary.

Our rimfire conversion relocates the firing pin strike to the proper rimfire position, allowing us to build Encore rimfire barrels with a true, centered bore just like a conventional barrel. The result is a cleaner, more straightforward system that eliminates the need for offset barrel geometry altogether.

More Barrel Options. No More Offset.

Removing the offset barrel requirement opens up configurations we simply couldn’t offer before including pistol length Encore rimfire barrels. Whether you’re building a compact rimfire pistol, hunting setup, suppressor host, or full length rifle, the new system gives us far more flexibility in barrel length, contour, and configuration without designing the entire barrel around an offset firing pin location.

The conversion has been tested extensively with both major rimfire case families:

• .22 LR family cartridges

• .22 Magnum family cartridges

Both case types have proven exceptionally reliable with the new firing pin system.
