Choosing Between Chrome Moly Polished and Matte Finish + Flute Coatings

Have you ever wondered what the different polishing looks like in comparison? Here we have a perfect example of these options. Three of them are chrome moly blued polished, with the 4th being a chrome moly blued matte finish.  

You’ll see that the bottom barrel (Chrome moly polished, fluting sniper grey) isn’t in our opinion a good match as the sniper grey flute coating blends too much with the polished base. The second one with the satin mag cerakote is a sexy looking barrel because there is no missing the flute coating.

The next barrel is a chrome moly polished finish with a spiral flute on it.

And the last one is a chrome moly matte finish with straight flutes.
