Every single detail of this muzzleloader has been designed from the ground up, to offer you the most premier muzzleloader platform of any out there.*It is more robust and accurate than any other on the market today* , and we don't say that lightly.

On top of the new barrels, we're going to be offering a new muzzle brake that we designed with sabot shooting, loose powder muzzle loading, and after-shot sight picture in mind: the "Smoke Brake" . This will help from not being able to see impacts and reducing recoil, all while not damaging sabots as they exit the muzzle.

Our breech opens 40% more, which allows for hassle-free extractor removal, granting quick access to the breech plug when cleaning.

Note: In this video, 87 grains by weight was used (roughly 120-125 by Volume). Bullets used are .451″ sized to .4505″ but this may vary. Every bore can be slightly different. ALWAYS use a witness line on your ramrod to avoid double loading.

Precision Engineering for Maximum Performance

Conventional Threading

Our plugs are conventional 360 degree threaded with 9/16"-24 threads and a maximum diameter of .625", which means they are optimized for both of the T/C's

Tungsten Carbide Bushing

This breech plug comes standard with a tungsten carbide bushing. The tungsten carbide has greatly improved wear resistance from heat and pressure.

Optimal Flash Hole

This means the 0.030" flash hole through the bushing (which is the optimal orifice size for BH209) stays the same shot after shot

Tight Tolerances

These plugs are manufactured to very tight tolerances to allow interchangeability between plugs and maintaining perfect headspace

Forend – Thompson Center 45 Cal Muzzleloader

One of our main focuses over the years has been to keep the interchangeability between the MGM brand and T/C brand simple and fluid. These new muzzleloader barrels will be no different.

The Encore muzzleloader barrels will drop into standard T/C muzzleloader forends with the use of our custom forend adapters included in the purchase price of your barrel

Seamless Integration with Standard T/C Components

Breech Plug – Thompson Center 45 Cal Muzzleloader

Our breech opens 40% more , which means the T15 screw holding the extractor in can be spun out, and gives plenty of room for a 3/8″ socket to wrench out the platform specific breech plug.

These breech plugs are conventional 360 degree threaded with 9/16″ – 24 threads, and come with tungsten carbide bushing. Why not go with steel for your flash hole? Carbide will not wear out under normal use with 209 primers and black powder or suitable substitutes.

Headspace Standard: We headspace these plugs using Federal 209A primers, which is proven time and time again to be the standard for precise and reliable black powder ignition

Redesigned MGM Muzzleloader Ram Rod & Jag

The ram rod is custom built for the above-mentioned lengths, model and caliber.

Our ram rods are solid aluminum with a fine polished finish, then anodized to give the attractive offset and protective layer

Both ends are tapped to #10-32, which will allow use of aftermarket handles, jags, and pullers

Our jag is interchangeable with the Spin Jag and features 18-8 SS stud to prevent breakage

The jags are made to be the same length as aftermarket options to allow for seamless transition between the many options

Ramrods are 700 Fine belt polished before Type III anodizing to prevent bore damage and longevity

Both ends of ramrod are beveled and tapped #10-32 for versatility of utilizing appropriate accessories like: jags, handles, and bullet pullers

Jag male threads are a SS stud which will prevent bending or breakage

Jag nose is optimized for standard commercially available bullets

Jags are blue Loctite installed prior to shipment
