Choosing Between Chrome Moly Polished and Matte Finish + Flute Coatings
Have you ever wondered what the different polishing options look like in comparison? Here we have a perfect example of these options. Three of them are chrome moly blued polished, with the fourth being a chrome moly blued matte finish.
You’ll see that the bottom barrel, chrome moly polished with fluting sniper grey, isn’t in our opinion a good match as the sniper grey flute coating blends too much with the polished base. The second one with the satin mag Cerakote is a great-looking barrel because there is no missing the flute coating.
The next barrel is a chrome moly polished finish with a spiral flute on it.
And the last one is a chrome moly matte finish with straight flutes.
