Through the years we’ve seen a lot of innovation in the firearms industry. We like to think we’ve contributed along the way with our tuned T/C barrels and jaw-dropping list of customization’s. Today we’re launching another great addition to our barrel line-up, the Sixer. The Sixer is a timed muzzle brake that expels gases from six ports that are milled into two sides of the brake, and rotate upwards 30* to aid in muzzle rise for less overall recoil and faster post-shot sight acquisition. As shown in our Muzzle Brake Breakdown, the new Sixer is more effective than not only our previously offered muzzle brakes but also a Silencerco Harvester 300.
Now that you’ve experienced the Muzzle Brake Breakdown, you can see what we’re so excited about! Adding the sixer to our lineup in both integral and thread-on options has already been taken care of. We tested the brakes with the 308 Winchester and Federal 180 SP ammo as a good indicator to show the effectiveness between styles. We plan on testing further with both smaller and larger calibers and modifying the sixer for each recoil style if necessary. Again, thanks for reading up on this, folks.
