The newest item on the list of pre-fit gun barrels is the Ruger Precision Barrel – RPR. We will be offering the “RPR” barrels along side of our popular Remage and Savage barrels. The RPR is limited to calibers with a .473” bolt face, keep this in mind when you are thinking about your new barrel.
According to Ruger.com “Barrels can be replaced easily by a competent gunsmith using AR-style wrenches and headspace gauges”, we have found this statement to be true. We have built these barrels and have found them to be easily interchanged.
One of our local customers sent in pictures of his RPR rifle and shot group after installing his new MGM barrel.
Ruger Precision Rife Barrel Makeup:
- 22” 6.5 Creedmoor
- 1-8 twist rate
- Spiral fluted
- Barrel coated in Armor Black Cerakote
- Threaded 5/8” x 24.
